Remember Space Monkeys, Polaris Submarines and Hitler Stamps?
You can pre-order an Xbox at CompUSA as long as you buy 2 first party titles, 1 third party title and 2 accessories, nearly $500 in total. How Bill & Steve expect to go up against the video games industry with the same restrictive practices they used in the desktop PC market is beyond me. I think they forgot they don’t have a monopoly in this game. Does making people buy 5 first party products to the 1 third party game not totally alienate your developers too..
Forget the Xbox, Slinker brings us the Sbox..
The worlds largest magnifying glass has been stolen, for the inhabitants of Ant City life will never be the same again..

DJ Shadow.com has re-launched today, in preparation for the release of Shadow’s new, as yet untitled, album in Feb 2002. The site has had a facelift and lick of paint and includes a good discography and a nifty Flash audio player. Warning: the site is Flash heavy and slow, and might be best left to broadband users..
Jonny Ram (the lucky get) has been to Spaceworld today. He’s sent us these 2 postcards of suitably dressed attendee’s to rub it in, MonkeyBall, Zelda/Link..
Metroid Prime impresses. Visually this game is looking awesome, a welcome suprise after the rumours of troubles in the developer’s camp. (I still have some reservations about it looking a bit on rails, mind)..
