l'Espion Joiners

I got a l'Espion digital camera a while back after seeing Matt @ Frownland recomending them. This camera is the size of a box of matches and dangles from the end of a key ring, so obviously the image resolution is pretty crap. In an effort to extract a modicum of extra resolution out of mine I've taken to making mini Hockney style joiners. Here's some I took today in Northumberland, Crag Lough, Tracy and Steel Rigg, taken at 2° 23' W 55° 0' N

  • Wow... they're neat! I think I'll head off down to Akihabara this weekend and see if the locals have anything comparable. I'm sure I've seen something along those lines before.

  • Hey... nice redesign folks. I like the l'espion joiner images too. I never thought of doing that! I'm off up the coast over Easter - taking a boat tour round the Farne islands - so I might try and take a few there!

  • Oh no! Here begins the confusion as to which matt is which :). Hovering over the "www"s gives the answer but it's immediately obvious. I might have to resort to one of those pesky haXX0r handle type affairs like a true riot nrrrd :/

  • Ok - I know it's trumpet blowing but here's one I did earlier over xmas/new year in Moretonhampstead, Dartmoor. Long live the little l'espion!

  • I'm going to try some larger scale one's soon, it'll be a lot cheaper than doing them with real prints adn a lot easier to handle size wise.

  • Hey it's little old me......on my first walk along Hadrian's wall...... Yep, I live less than 30miles from the wall and I've never been before, that's really sad I know. It was a lovely bright sunny day as well and it was really nice to get some fresh country air into my lungs. Dan your pics are really cool, very interesting....hope to see some more pix on pixelised soon !
