IGN shake a huge stick at a whole load of XBox titles today. If you've been toying with the idea of buying into Microsoft's American Dream, then this is probably a good place to start making a decision. What do you guys think, I must admit I'm still not convinced...

Welp, you've got admire the sheer volume of them, considering that one of their major barriers before was looking to be the lack of titles. I've no doubt that a good proportion of the games are going to be turkeys though. There's a fair number of big name licensces there as well, not surprising really since corporations love to fill each others pockets, but it'll certainly make there life easier in terms of grabbing the uninformed dollar.
One stand out title is making me drool shamefully in anticipation though. Hiding at the bottom of the list is Konami's "The Thing"!
Survival horror, prepare to meet thy maker.

Ahem... if I made a page like this about the up and coming PS2 titles, I think we'd all be a bit excited too... and looking down this Xbox list, I can see a few titles there that are never gonna see 2001 releases... MGS? They're not even working on that till MGS2 is out. And two Tony Hawks games in 2 months? Is that gonna happen?

..but I've got a bit of a soft spot for Medal of Honour too as you well know, and Silent Hill 2 and Halo are certainly tempting. Though fuck knows why they're hyping Malice, it doesn't appeal to me at all.

Do you not think the graphics on the games all look a bit old school PCish?

Maybe, but to be fair a single small screenshot for each game isn't much to base criticism on. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it looks amazing by any stretch of the imagination, but I reckon the weight of Microsoft might draw some reasonable games to it, and as we all know, games maketh the console.

Project Ego looks interesting. Not sure how they'll handle the ageing system, I can imagine that might end up a bit contrived. I like the idea of being able to interact with the gameworld, acorns turning into trees sound nice..

Have we had this on here before? Any road, fantastic ideas but I really don't like the character design, their eyes are all too big for some reason.

Oh and I almost forget to mention, did I say microsoft would wait until a non-expo type moment to play its trump card, after nintendo had already shot its wad or what? :)

What are you on about, this has nothing to do with Microsoft, its just IGN having a slow news day so they've created a hub page to all their recent previews..
